Rescue Consulting

Consulting for MedSurg facility: reopened facility during covid pandemic, successful licensing with state and complete accreditation.

Community hospital: operational assessment and board approved initiatives resulting in a $2 million annual savings and enhancement in operations.

Urban surgical hospital: 90 day interim management/consulting with resulting bottom line impact of $1.5 million.

Bedroom community/PPS hospital: resulting initiatives led to annual savings/gain of $750,000.

Urban heart and orthopedic surgical hospital: roles as board member, regional operations and referral utilization manager. In addition, established mobile cardiovascular services and rehabilitation to the region.

Rescue Leadership (Effective Management)

Change of Ownership for a med-surg acute care facility, licensed with the state, accredited, and fully enrolled with Medicare in under 90 days.

City owned med-surg facility: remodeled & reopened during the covid pandemic.

Management of a district critical access hospital: resulted in cash turnaround of $22 million and doubled the size of the hospital campus. In addition, effectuated the purchase of a nursing home.

Rural PPS hospital: negative cash position upon assumption of control. 30 months later, cash position was at 545 days.

Rural PPS hospital: prior operating loss of $1.5 million was transformed into a $2 million gain in 12 months from assumption of control.

Two hospitals owned by a single county, one PPS, the other a critical access hospital, the combined effect over 12 month management was in excess of $6 million.

Rural critical access hospital: built a replacement hospital along with a medical office building and a wellness center. Enhanced cashflow by 15% year over year.

Tertiary publicly traded hospital: in 6 months, converted a $500,000 loss to a $500,000 gain resulting in facility being recognized as top performing hospital out of 64 hospital corporation.
